TV chef Dev Biswal is a pioneer in the movement creating modern, fine dining Indian cuisine. His deftly spiced dishes are culinary works of art and have been widely acclaimed by top restaurant critics in the national press.
His three Michelin-listed Ambrette restaurants in Canterbury, Margate and Rye, known for their use of local and wild produce, are featured in all the major food guides including, AA, Good Food, Square Meal, Time Out and Harden’s.
His numerous awards include and ‘Best Restaurant 2013’ from Produced in Kent and ‘Best Restaurant in the South East’ from the Cobra Good Curry Guide 2013 and this month The Ambrette has been named ‘Best Indian in the Country’ by Morrison’s magazine. Dev has also just been awarded the coveted ‘Chef of The Year’ by Taste of Kent Awards 2015.
