About Swift House Cookery School

Following her passion for cooking, Swift House Cookery School was set up by Caroline Phillips in 2013. Having studied various disciplines at the Ashburton Cookery School, Caroline went on to further hone her skills at the famous Leiths Cookery School in London where she studied baking and pastry work.

Latterly, Caroline decided to further her knowledge of chocolatiering and attended the Chocolate Academy run by Callebaut, following which, she gained sponsorship from this famous Belgium chocolate company, who now work closely with Swift House Cookery School, Kent’s only cookery school with a dedicated chocolatiering tier.

Caroline’s vision for Swift House Cookery School has inspired a diverse range of professional and experienced chefs to join her to form an enthusiastic team who are keen to share their specialist knowledge with both amateurs and more experienced cooks.

Caroline says, “What I really love about this school is that a complete beginner can attend one of our courses and leave us at the end of the day with a feeling of real achievement, having produced food to a professional standard whilst having a great deal of fun.”
