Kenwood Disaster Chef 2013

Is your cooking more dismal than delicious? Are you more disaster than master in the kitchen? Then Kenwood’s Disaster Chef Competition for 2013 could be for you.

Kenwood - sponsors of Swift House Cookery School is once again searching for Britain’s most hopeless chefs in the hope it can transform their cooking skills. The judging panel, which includes former Celebrity Masterchef winner Liz McClarnon, is looking for 15 entrants most in need of help. These 15 will then embark on a three-month journey to transform their kitchen abilities before one is crowned the Kenwood Chef 2013.

If you are selected to take part, you will learn basic skills and how to make family favourite recipes.

In addition to the training, you’ll be given a Kenwood Chef worth £599.99, a weekly mystery food hamper filled with ingredients to help you on your gastronomic adventure, and a camera to capture your creations with.

The 15 will be whittled down to six finalists who will go head to head at the live Disaster Chef grand final in October. The overall winner will win a host of prizes worth more than £4,000 including a £500 cookery course, a selection of Kenwood products and a £3,000 kitchen makeover.
